Caltex Bulldogs put the bite on the Llewats Tigers to take premiership honours in the Stawell 13 and Under Football Association.
It was a bold performance from Bulldogs, who produced their best for a 47 points win.
The Bulldogs had a tough battle to the grand final after finishing fourth and being forced to play through the finals elimination rounds.
However, the Doggies saved their best until last and with a dominant eight goals performance from Tom O'Neill blew their Llewats Tigers opposition away after the opening term.
Tigers did most of the attacking early in the game before the Bulldogs took control to lead by 15 points at half time.
There was no stopping the Bulldogs from that point on and with a five goal second half they sealed their premiership win.
Tom O'Neill with his eight goals, Matthew Grinham, Josh Newton and Matthew Healy led the way for the Bulldogs.
It was hard work for the Tigers after the opening term, with Josh Limbourne, Ethan Holmes, Luke Cowen and Ben Taylor working hard to keep the Tigers in the game.
The VCFL medal for the best on ground in the grand final was won by Bulldogs' Tom O'Neill.
Following the grand final the association conducted the annual presentation night.
Central Power Magpies' Zac Marrow won the association's 2008 best and fairest award with Tom O'Neill the runner up.
Club best and fairest awards were won by Ryan Folkes (Llewats Tigers), Josh Fowkes (Doctor DC Hawks), Tom O'Neill (Caltex Bulldogs) and Zac Marrow (Central Power Magpies).
The association thanked Roy and Lorraine Williams for their continual commitment and assistance on game day and to the association, Roy undertaking the central umpiring duties and Lorraine as the timekeeper.
