Pomonal resident Roy Trimble has returned home from the 2008 Australian Masters Indoor Cricket Championships.
Trimble was part of the Victorian men's over 45 team which took part in the national titles at St Mary's Indoor Sports Centre in New South Wales between July 27 and August 2.
Victoria was one of six teams in the over 45 division, where it was knocked out in the semi final stage of the competition. Victoria was beaten by Queensland in the minor semi-final.
Matches were played on Sunday through until the grand finals on the following Saturday. Victoria finished the round robin competition in fourth place after 10 matches, with four wins and 13 skins.
